Bachelor’s degree or certificate in HCI, design or equivalent.

Specific software experience: Experience with modern software design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar platforms.

Experience with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools, including Figma Make and Claude. UX designer II will help contribute to software design solutions by understanding user needs in a variety of enterprise spaces and creating innovative concepts to help solve those challenges. The designer will integrate with cross-functional teams across all parts of Zebra’s business, practicing design thinking and evangelizing a human-centered design approach to ensure Zebra’s solutions offer a best-in-class experience for our customers.

The designer will look to support a variety of technical deliverables ranging from information architecture,



workflow diagrams, wireframes, and pixel-perfect production UI specifications. They will have a more advanced understanding of production limitations around software technology and be able to clearly articulate their viewpoints when working with teams. Seek out and capture user needs, customer use-cases, and create design prototypes to be validated by collaborating directly with our cross-functional stakeholders (such as Product Managers, Program Managers) and senior designers.

Supports all stages of design development process from customer research, concept development, prototyping and execution. Proficient understanding of interaction design, visual design, design systems, and other related design skills. Basic understanding of mobile or web development technologies and limitations Bachelor’s degree or certificate in HCI, design or equivalent.

Minimum Work

Experience (years): 2+ years professional experience as a User Experience Designer. Strong understanding of web and mobile technology.
