Morriston Veterinary Clinic is an independently owned small animal practice offering compassionate care in our community and surrounding areas since 2020.

We are looking to hire a part-time veterinary assistant/receptionist to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with others and willing to assist the veterinary staff with day-to-day tasks, as well as front desk support. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- answering telephones, scheduling appointments, filing, basic housekeeping/laundry
- maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for clients
- clean and maintain supplies in exam rooms
- assisting in restraining patients while ensuring safety for both animals and staff
- prepare surgical packs,



maintain stock of materials within the treatment area.
- ensure the cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, kennels, and surgical suite

Experience

- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred

- Strong communication skills with an energetic approach to customer service - Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
