Role Overview The Warehouse & Delivery Associate is a vital role within the Capital BBQ team. You will serve as the final touchpoint in delivering exceptional customer experience. This is not just a delivery position — it’s a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will be helping with the safe and professional delivery of BBQ equipment, grills, and accessories directly to customers’ homes and outdoor spaces.Your role will require attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong focus on customer service.

You will represent Capital BBQ in the field, ensuring that our products are delivered and set up with the highest level of care and professionalism.In the warehouse, you will help in all areas to keep the operations flowing efficiently. This will include everything from counting inventory to shipping/receiving orders and assembling BBQs.

Responsibilities

- Delivery Execution: Transport BBQs, grills, and accessories to customer locations, ensuring secure and timely delivery.

- Customer Interaction: Provide a white glove delivery service, which may include unboxing, placement, and light assembly of products according to customer preferences.

- Loading & Unloading:



Safely load and unload products, utilizing hand trucks and other equipment as necessary. Ensure products are securely transported.

- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery records, including obtaining customer signatures, the removal of customer rejected products (when applicable), and managing any product-related issues.

- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any minor issues or inquiries from customers on-site in a courteous and professional manner.

- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team to address any changes to delivery schedules or returns. Assist in warehouse tasks as required during downtime.

- Safety & Cleanliness: Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment, both in the warehouse and on delivery routes.

- Warehouse Operations: Participate in all daily warehouse activities which may include receiving product, shipping orders and assembling BBQs.

Qualifications

- Required: Proven experience working in a warehouse and/or home delivery (at least 1-year).

- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle customer interactions professionally and courteously.

- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with a partner.

- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.

- Flexible availability for early morning or evening deliveries, as needed.

- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and initiative.

- Experience operating a counter-balance forklift and/or reach truck is an asset.
