Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the successful candidate must possess strong manual dexterity, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for metal fabrication and assembly.

Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, welding drawings, and work instructions. Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment to weld metal components, including: Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG) Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG) Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW/Stick) Operate manual and semi-automatic oxy-fuel cutting equipment. Operate welding and brazing equipment.

Operate metal forming equipment such as press brakes, shears,



and other metal straightening and bending machines. Repair damaged components by applying additional weld material. Perform routine maintenance on welding and brazing equipment and carry out minor repairs as required.

Assemble and weld components according to customer drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

Perform Gas Metal Arc

Welding (GMAW/MIG/MAG) using consumable wire electrodes.

Perform Gas Tungsten Arc

Welding (GTAW/TIG). Operate cutting, grinding, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Requirements Education

Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS/DEP) in Welding and Fitting or another relevant technical program. Minimum of 5 years of welding experience.

Technical Skills Canadian Welding

Bureau (CWB) certification is considered an asset. Able to meet the physical demands of the position.

Experience welding aluminum. Robust proficiency in TIG welding.

Personal Skills

Excellent overall physical health. Good vision and visual acuity. Ability to read and interpret fabrication and assembly drawings. Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Attention to detail with a high level of precision.
