Competitive pay ~ Health & dental coverage for you and your family with 100% premium cost paid by employer. ~ Annual vacation with pay at 1.66 working days for each calendar month to a maximum of 20 working days per year. ~Maternity / parental /adoption leave top-up payments (to top-up Canadian government unemployment benefit payments). ~100% premium cost for long-term disability coverage paid by employee. ~ Eligibility to participate in pension plan after 2 years of continuous service with generous matching contribution from employer Wraparound Facilitator (Permanent full-time, 35 hours/week) Bargaining Unit Position The Wraparound Facilitator position is responsible for providing Wraparound Services for youth 12- under 18 years old who are at risk of going into care or who are currently in care and require based process of Wraparound stages i.e. identifying and coordinating crisis/safety plans, advocacy, referrals and connecting to resources, ensuring the youth has a voice, and facilitating the specific needs of the family in an effort to keep families together and help youth realize their Conduct outreach presentations to Child Welfare and Central Point of Intake to create awareness about Wraparound and generate referrals Coordinate with Child Welfare, and various service providers Clinical consult, outreach worker, residential programs,



etc… Local travel to meetings/appointments Facilitate in-home, community, and virtual Wraparound meetings to address crisis or safety concerns, assess strengths, needs, culture, values, beliefs Implement strengths based problem solving, identify creative solutions and coping strategies Meet one on one with youth to engage, build trust Coordination, follow up, info-sharing via phone, or electronically Accompany clients to meetings/appointmentsConduct pre/post evaluations and surveys Completion of client and administrative reports, case notes, statistics, and client file management in accordance with organizational guidelines Draft Wraparound plans, meeting agendas, strengths lists, and other Wraparound activity documents Create/update promotional materials and presentations Participate in individual supervision, peer support meetings, Child Welfare meetings, Wraparound Canada, Wraparound Ontario Participate in mandatory and other relevant training/professional development opportunities Take all reasonable and necessary precautions to protect personal health & safety and that of clients and co-workers by demonstrating knowledge of/adhering to the policies, procedures, and safe practices of YouthLink. Provide back up for other facilitator as needed Mentoring new facilitators as needed All activities are expected to be performed in a safe manner, in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its Regulations, along with Corporate Safety policies, procedures and programs.

Standard First Aid

Certification is an asset Wraparound Facilitator Training – Must have or be willing to obtain as condition of employment Trauma Informed training – an asset 2 years’ experience in working with youth and families, parenting groups, strength-based work, team-building and working with high need youth and families. ~ Demonstrated ability and experience in working with marginalized youth, their families, newcomers and diverse youth populations living in under-served communities. ~ Demonstrated knowledge of youth/family engagement practices ~ Demonstrated ability to work with youth and families from a trauma informed strengths based relationship-based approach an asset ~ Operating using an Anti-Black Racism lens is an asset. Proficient in computer usage skills Demonstrated knowledge of youth/family engagement practices Knowledge of diversity, equity, and trauma-informed care principles Familiar with community resources and services within Scarborough and the GTA Trauma Informed training – an asset. Specialized training in de-escalation, conflict resolution, mediation and negotiation skills an asset.

Additional social media skills an asset. Ability to speak a second language spoken within the community (Tamil, Urdu, Farsi, Creole, French, and Spanish) is an asset.
