Who You Are: Ground Effects is currently seeking a Supply Chain Coordiantor to join our Purchasing team in Windsor, Ontario.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing product ordering activities and maintaining inventory levels to ensure material availability aligns with OEM forecasted demand and production schedules. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of cost-effective, high-quality materials that support operational objectives.

The Supply Chain Coordinator will monitor inventory performance, coordinate replenishment activities, and help drive efficient supply chain processes to support overall business and production requirements.

Responsibilities:

Manage product ordering, supplier releases, and material movements to ensure uninterrupted support of production schedules and OEM customer requirements.
Plan and coordinate material requirements with direct and sub-suppliers based on customer demand, forecasts, and production schedules.
Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and receipt records within the ERP system and ensure timely processing of purchase orders.
Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules,



and inventory levels to support efficient supply chain operations.
Track material receipts, transfers, and inventory transactions between suppliers and internal facilities.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery expectations are achieved.
Identify and escape material shortages, delivery concerns, and supplier performance issues to minimize operational risk.

Prepare and maintain supply chain metrics, reports, and supplier scorecards to support planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure all purchased materials comply with applicable customer, company, and regulatory requirements

Adhere to Occupational Health & Safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in supply chain planning, materials management, procurement, or a related field, preferably within an automotive manufacturing environment.
Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.




Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and build strong supplier relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO standards, and automotive industry requirements is considered an asset.
Team-oriented with a strong customer service mindset and attention to detail.

Valid Ontario driver's license and the ability to maintain legal entry into the United States.

Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package for this critical role,including;

Annual salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 , based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit

Other Key Details You Need to Know: Travel may be required.

Ability to conduct presentations and participate in supplier meetings.
Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
Personal protective equipment must be worn while on the production floor.

Exposure to manufacturing and automotive environments may occur as required.
