Become a Business Analyst with the B.C. General Employees' Union (BCGEU) and drive development and modernization initiatives. This hybrid role focuses on requirements management within an agile environment.
In this one-year term position, you will work directly with BCGEU’s Development team, leading activities such as requirements elicitation and managing the Jira backlog of user stories and tasks. Your expertise will shape software development lifecycles and improve business processes, ensuring that solutions meet stakeholder needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders
- Analyze data and business processes, reporting findings
- Manage and prioritize Jira backlogs effectively
- Collaborate with QA for defining testable acceptance criteria
- Document software features and support third-party integration
Requirements:
- 7+ years as a business analyst in an agile setting
- Experience managing Jira and running agile ceremonies
- Proficiency in project and risk management
- Excellent communication skills
- University degree in computer science or related field
