Job Overview

If you’re someone who likes working with your hands, learning from experienced tradespeople, and being part of a team that keeps big equipment moving, this role is an awesome place to start. You’ll get real experience in an industrial shop, build practical skills, and open the door to future trades opportunities.

Reports to: Supervisor, Shop
Shift: Monday- Friday 8h/day
Safety Sensitive: Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation

Key Job Responsibilities

- Support trades team with day‑to‑day tasks
- Preparing parts for Electric Motor System
- Painting Electric Motors
- Jump in on other tasks as assigned — every day may be a bit different

Qualifications/Requirements

- High school diploma
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude
- Experience painting using compressed air is an asset
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
