Elevate staff training as a Training Lead within Island Health's Registration Practice and Reliability. Focus on mentoring staff and enhancing processes while ensuring patient safety.
In this temporary full time role, you will report to the Regional Manager of Registration. Your five-plus years of expertise will guide the orientation, education, and reliability initiatives for Registration and Patient Placement staff. You will develop educational strategies, implement new processes, and promote a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate training sessions for Registration staff
• Implement Data Quality programs effectively
• Ensure compliance with registration standards
• Guide mentorship for new and existing staff
• Promote a positive learning culture and practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
• At least five years' experience in a complex environment
• Valid BC Driver's License
• Advanced skills in Excel and SharePoint
• Knowledge of health information management
