Terms of Employment:Full-time, Permanent PositionSchedule:7 days on 7 days off (Days only) 12 hour shiftsDuties & ResponsibilitiesDirects maintenance crews in the installation, repair and preventative maintenance of equipment used throughout the plant and facilitiesEndure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and according to company policies and legislationWork closely with the Plant Superintendent, Plant Manager, and supervisors to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks according to operational needs and resource availability.Prepare detailed work order scopes, including task lists, tools, special requirements, and timelines to ensure thorough preparation and execution of maintenance tasks.Responsible for the development, implementation and day-to-day supervision of maintenance systems, processes and documentation associated with efficient and High Performing Manufacturing Organizations (Prevention and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, SOP’s, Safety, etc.).Ensures maintenance is scheduled in a timely manner and works closely with Production to schedule and accomplish equipment and facility repairs.Develops and/or maintains Key Performance Indicators for tracking and reporting the performance of the maintenance function (supplier performance, 3rd party contractor performance, equipment reliability, overall equipment effectiveness, etc.)Efficiently document and track work orders to ensure comprehensive planning and status reporting.Ensure accurate daily recording of plant utilization metrics, such as equipment operational hours.Work closely with the warehouse and procurement departments to ensure the timely availability of necessary parts and materials for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.Provide leadership and ensure oversight of the plant fixed assets planning function, focusing on the safety, efficiency,



and timeliness of maintenance tasks.Provides long term solutions and day-to-day support to all operating teams having issues with troubleshooting, problem analysis, equipment failures, etc.Trains employees on proper work methods and safety procedures.Ensures tasks are completed in accordance with company policies and regulations.Maintains accurate records of maintenance work performed and inventory.Provides regular status reports to maintenance management team.Participate in the development and management of budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to meet organizational goals.Other duties and tasks as assigned.Education, Experience & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering and previous leadership experience preferredRed Seal Certification as an Electrician, Millwright, or Welder is highly valued and considered an optionHigh School Diploma /2 years of maintenance or process project engineering experience requiredExperience in Supervisory role, experience in managing budgets, and implementing proactive maintenance strategiesKnowledge of continuous improvements concepts in both operating plants and capital development projectsTechnical Competencies & SkillsAbility to adhere to a 8x6 schedule; 12 hours a day (days only)Proficient in both written and verbal English communication, essential for explicit and effective team leadership, safety compliance, and operational coordination.Optimizing Preparation Plant maintenance operations, reducing downtime, and minimizing costs by proactively planning and coordinating maintenance activities.



Enduring efficient resource utilization and improving productivity.Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of using data to improve maintenance strategies and reduce equipment downtime.Ensure the integrity of all written documentation, including but not limited to, employee disciplinary actions, contractor time sheets, PM inspection sheets, work orders, requisitions, employee timecards, incident and accident investigationsEnsure all PM inspections are thoroughly completed and documented; Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering a culture of safety, integrity, and teamwork.Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.Wage and BenefitsConuma Resources takes pride in providing industry-competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package that truly values our employees.
