It is our mission that leads us to achieve heightened levels of performance in process, accuracy and customer service.CpK Interior Products Inc. is hiring aMATERIALS PLANNER to support our Logistics team in cross‑functional operational activities. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely supply of necessary materials. Working with limited storage space and just‑In‑time delivery/assembly principles, the Material Planner ensures an adequate supply without over ordering or wasting resources. Proactive monitoring ensures the Customer is supplied as required and by addressing critical supply issues, including the implementation of various applications that are critical to meeting the plants SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale) objectives.What You’ll Do (Key responsibilities, not limited to)Perform forecasting and data analysis on existing and incoming inventory,



and predict/prevent stock‑outsUnderstand and manage risk to minimize impact on production scheduleOwn cycle count validation & inventory adjustment to department scheduleManage supplier performance to maintain planned inventory levels for COMPLETE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, adapting to unplanned demands (including rush orders, orders for slow moving parts within the global supply chain.)Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas for improvementUtilize company ERP system that is in place and ensure that the data is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as requiredMonitor the integrity of Bills of Material (BOM) and manage inventory accuracyMonitor inventory levels against agreed upon target levelsSupport inventory checks to validate inventory accuracyMinimize obsolete stock and ensure business is left with minimal liabilityManages all inventory/distribution activities (Receiving, stock transfers, cycle counts, inventory balancing)Contact suppliers on a regular basis (ex. For schedule changes) and when material is rejected, etc to ensure production schedule is maintainedEnsure that all paperwork is processed accurately and completely in a timely mannerTrack critical shipments after normal business hours when necessaryDaily review of schedule vs inbound material to ensure production coverageExpedite schedules on a need basisWhat You BringUndergraduate degree/diploma in business, materials or operations management desirablePrevious experience of materials planning ideally in the automotive or manufacturing environment is requiredAbility to work weekends,



evenings and overtimeGood understanding of supply chain processes and their interdependenciesUnderstanding of supplier relationships and some experience working with suppliers is preferredExhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in activities intended to improve operational processesAbility to root cause and develop corrective actions to prevent problem recurrenceKnowledge of Lean principles, ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 Supplier ManagementAbility to enter and manipulate data in Microsoft Excel, Portal, Trans4M and RocketMust be Customer Focused and Safety OrientedAbility to organize priorities based on deadlines and importance of tasksManage time efficiently while working on several different tasks at onceWork Schedule & PaySchedule: Full‑time, On‑site, Manufacturing OperationsHours:AFTERNOONSHIFT, M-F 40 hours per week. Weekend work when scheduled as per customer demandOvertime: As required, in accordance with company policy and applicable legislationCompensation Range: $60,000–$80,000 annualThis range reflects our current expectations as of this posting’s date.
