Big Country Equipment is seeking Automotive Service Technicians for rotational field service roles in British Columbia. Technicians will work on a 14/14 schedule, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on light-duty vehicles at mine sites. Three or more years of recent experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing automotive or light-duty vehicles Valid Class 5 Driver’s License Ability to lift 50 lbs. comfortably Pass an 8-panel drug test (including marijuana) and alcohol breath test Clean 5-year driver’s abstract Pass a Criminal Record check Proficiency in English (verbal and written) Provide two direct supervisor references Not seeking subcontractor roles What Will Make You Stand Out
Experience maintaining light-duty fleet vehicles in mining, industrial, or construction environments Valid provincial trade certification as an Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification Experience with Ford, GMC, and Chevy vehicles
