The Ontario Fur Managers Federation (OFMF) is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Junior Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the Federation’s head office and provide administrative support to the General Manager and Administrative Assistant.

Duties
The Junior Administrative Assistant will work in a team effort carrying out duties as assigned by the Administrative Assistant in conjunction with the General Manager such as:
- Coordinate the issuance of trapping licenses.
- Maintain membership records and databases.
- Complete required data entry into the FURMIS system and assist with related mandatory reporting requirements.
- Maintain control and process Trapper Education course materials and related records.
- Other administrative duties as directed, including but not limited to processing correspondence and payments and acting as secretary/receptionist for the Federation’s head office.
Required Skills
- Post secondary education preferred.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while working effectively with a Board, management and staff.
- Proficiency with standard office software, databases, email, and document management.
- Ability to maintain confidential information and records.
- Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
- Qualified, courteous, and reliable approach to working with members, trappers, government representatives, and the public.
- Knowledge of trapping, fur management, hunting, wildlife management, or related activities would be considered an asset.
