PALS is seeking a Family Support Worker to deliver critical services to families at risk of child welfare involvement. In this full-time role, you will assess family needs, provide interventions, and facilitate access to community resources. Your work will directly impact the well-being and security of families facing challenges like poverty and violence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide intensive weekly in-home support to families in need
• Gather client information to address risks and needs
• Develop individualized action plans with transparent goals
• Conduct educational sessions related to family dynamics
• Maintain accurate records and report on client progress
Requirements:
• Degree in social work with one-year experience
• Experience with urban family challenges
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications
• Valid Saskatchewan driver's license required
