PLASP operates in more than 240 schools, providing before school, lunch and after school programs and 38 full‐day early learning and child care centres and six EarlyON locations for children from 0 – 6 years.PLASP is committed to hiring, training and fairly compensating staff. We believe that everyone has worth and value, and that all staff are entitled to be respected, supported and treated fairly by their co‐workers and supervisors.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain a safe, warm, and caring environment in which a high‐quality extended day program can operate.Plan, develop and implement programs of stimulating age‐appropriate activities for groups of children. Activities promote their physical, social, emotional and intellectual well‐being in accordance with the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA), How Does Learning Happen (HDLH), and the guidelines established by PLASP for all program components including P.A. days.Budget and order food for the program, prepare nutritious breakfast and snacks while adhering to the Canada Food Guide and the rotating snack planner.Supervise and train staff,
