The company focuses on ensuring patients have access to specialty medications and the support needed to maximize treatment outcomes.Job OverviewThis dynamic position allows for direct patient care in an infusion clinic that is a center of excellence for specialty medications. The Infusion Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients with chronic conditions including neurological disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, rheumatologic diseases, and other lifelong illnesses. The role focuses on patient assessments, administering intravenous and injectable medications, and monitoring treatment outcomes related to disease progression, symptoms, and medication management.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete pre‑treatment assessments to ensure patient eligibility.Insert peripheral intravenous or establish access via central line following provincial standards.Provide medical support, including education on diseases, therapies, and disease management.Support and monitor administration of IV, SC, and IM medications in the clinic.Handle and reconstitute biologic or oncology medications within Health Canada and manufacturer guidelines.Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.Maintain training records for specific therapies per Health Canada’s Product Monograph, company policies, and procedures.Maintain a safe, clean clinic setting and uphold quality, safety,



and infection control standards.Maintain adequate supplies through inventory checks and timely ordering.Document and maintain patient records to ensure adequate treatment history.Submit required documentation to appropriate parties in a timely manner as outlined by Sentrex policies.Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and corporate information.Liaise with physicians’ offices, pharmacies, service providers, and other parties to coordinate comprehensive patient care.Participate in ongoing continuing education, clinic audits, and training sessions.Administer and adhere to patient care protocols, including monitoring, data collection, follow‑up, compliance, therapy disruption monitoring, adverse event reporting, and liaison with primary healthcare providers.Follow provincial College of Nurses guidelines while providing patient care.Report adverse events per Health Canada, manufacturer, and company guidelines.Perform additional duties as assigned.Requirements & ExperienceMinimum 2‑4 years of infusion nursing experience.Registered Nurse with professional liability insurance.Experience in critical care, emergency, oncology, neurology, rheumatology, gastro, hepatology, and/or pediatrics is an asset.Maintain yearly membership with provincial College of Registered Nurses, in good standing.CPR and First‑Aid certification required.ACLS, CVAA, CON(C),
