This 6-month term position reports to the Team Manager of Occupational Health and Safety. You will directly support the OCDSB's OH&S; management system, ensuring compliance with relevant Acts and Regulations concerning designated substances. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of safety protocols, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:



• Conduct inspections of designated substances and ensure compliance • Evaluate technical reports and maintain detailed records • Provide guidance and support regarding designated substances • Assist during Ministry of Labour investigations • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

Requirements: • Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety • 3-5 years experience with designated substances management • Knowledge of relevant safety Acts and Regulations • Proficiency in computer applications • Reliable transportation for site travel
