Job title: Software TesterLocation: Saanichton BC V8M 2A5Duration: 6 monthsWe are seeking a highly skilled Cloud QA Engineer with strong test automation expertise to ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of our cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience building robust automation frameworks and is comfortable working in modern cloud‑native environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using PlaywrightCreate and execute end-to-end (E2E), UI, API, and integration tests for cloud-based applicationsCollaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure high‑quality releasesIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.G., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)Perform functional, regression, and performance testing in cloud environmentsIdentify defects, log detailed bugs, and work closely with engineering teams for resolutionValidate microservices, APIs, and distributed system behaviors in cloud platformsContribute to testing best practices, standards, and quality processesMonitor test results and maintain test coverage and reliability metricsRequired QualificationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).3 6+ years of experience in QA/Test AutomationStrong Hands-on Experience WithCypress for front-end/UI automationPlaywright for cross-browser automationProficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.Experience testing cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Solid Understanding OfREST APIs and API testing tools (e.G., Postman,
