Lindsay YMCA and Community YPosition Type: Part-timeHours: 3–5 hours per weekCompensation: $16.75/hourAbout the RoleReporting to the Cleaning Manager, the Facility Staff (Full-Time Contract) plays a vital role in ensuring that the YMCA facility is clean, safe, and welcoming for members, guests, and staff. This position includes general cleaning and minor maintenance tasks within the building, as well as upkeep of exterior areas including sidewalks and entryways. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean and organized environment that promotes health and wellness.In This Role, You WillDeliver the Y Way quality standards through the provision of a welcoming, inclusive, and positive member experiencePerform routine cleaning tasks throughout the John W. Lindsay YMCA and Community Y, including gymnasiums, locker rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and common areasSweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors to ensure they are clean and safeDust and wipe down surfaces including counters, tables, windowsills, and equipmentDisinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and restroomsClean and restock restrooms with required supplies (soap, toilet paper, paper towels)Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.G., changing light bulbs, addressing minor wear and tear) and report significant issues to the Cleaning ManagerMonitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report replenishment needsMaintain exterior areas by clearing debris, litter, snow,
