Enhance patient nutrition at The Ottawa Hospital as a Registered Dietitian. Provide therapeutic nutrition and education within an inter-skilled setting during 8-hour day shifts.
We're seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our team. This role requires a Baccalaureate in Science or related field, completion of a Dietetic Internship, and membership with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. You will utilize advanced knowledge in medical terminology and therapeutic nutrition while fostering communication and mentoring within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nutritional assessments and individualized care plans
• Educate patients and health team members on dietary practices
• Supervise and mentor junior staff as needed




• Collaborate in program development for patient populations
• Document and maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field
• Post graduate Dietetic Internship completion
• Member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario
• Advanced English and French communication skills
• Experience with cardiac patient programs preferred
