ClaimsPro LP Adjuster, Transportation, Equipment & Cargo Specialist

Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid environment, Greater Toronto Area

Compensation: $67,200.00 – $93,300.00 CAD per annum

Overview

Support the Transportation, Equipment, and Cargo claims team by actively adjusting claims and maximizing business development opportunities through timely marketing and follow‑up. This role is fully hybrid and based in the Greater Toronto Area.

Responsibilities

• Adjust and resolve claims in transportation, equipment, and cargo lines.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the industry‑leading iAdjust software.
• Collaborate with local claims support, centralized after‑hours support, and dictation services.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
• Provide timely, high‑quality service to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Auto, Property, Liability, Accident & Benefits, or Bodily Injury claims.
• University degree or post‑secondary education related to insurance.
• Adjuster’s license or pursuing CIP designation.
• Strong analytical, investigative,
  
  
  
  and conclusion‑drawing skills.
• Ability to interpret complex legal documents and perform advanced numerical calculations.
• Excellent written and oral communication, with adaptability to varied audiences.
• Organizational skills with priority management and conflict resolution.
• Proactive, positive customer‑service approach.
• Solid interpersonal skills for conflict and difficult situations.
• Commitment to ongoing education and learning.
