As a Health Support Aide, you will collaborate with the Public Health Mobile Unit to ensure effective day-to-day operations. You will provide health and clinic navigational support, assist with Infection Prevention and Control, and maintain inventory. This role involves significant travel and hands-on client care across diverse communities.
Key Responsibilities: • Assist with routine health and clinic support functions • Provide basic client care and post-immunization observation • Prepare workspaces and maintain equipment inventory • Support Infection Prevention and Control procedures • Travel to various community locations across Nova Scotia
Requirements: • Grade 12 education required • Physical ability to lift over 18kg • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Valid Class 5 Nova Scotia driver's license • Training in CPR or BCLS is an asset
