At the present time they are positioned for their next growth phase with a multi-year land base, solid financial resources, and an exceptional management team, with that they are looking to hire a technically minded Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join their Design team. * this is an in office role, with flexibility (dog friendly office)Responsibilities:Produce accurate, lot-specific construction drawings using AutoCAD, based on standard plans, customer selections, and site constraintsPrepare full drawing packages including site plans, plot plans, and working drawings for permit submissionCoordinate with internal teams (construction, sales, estimating)



and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentationEnsure drawings comply with local building codes, bylaws, and municipal requirementsMaintain and update plan libraries and drafting standards to ensure consistency across projectsManage multiple projects simultaneously and meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environmentQualifications:Minimum of 5 years’ experience in drafting/ design in wood frame constructionStrong understanding of the local building codes and current land use bylaws for CalgarySolid understanding of the residential construction processes, building materials, permit processes, etc.Architectural Technology Diploma or equivalent.Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.In exchange for your hard work and commitment you will earn an attractive compensation package, $65-72K (dependent on experience), benefits, RRSP and early finish Fridays + the week off over Christmas.
