Join ALS Geochemistry as a Warehouse Technician, supporting vital lab functions in a high-volume setting. Your key tasks include managing sample logistics, deliveries, and adhering to safety protocols.
This position reports to the Warehouse or Lab Manager and is focused on operational excellence within the lab’s warehouse. You will be responsible for sorting and retrieving samples, scanning, and ensuring the quality and safety of operations. Daily activities involve local deliveries and shipping coordination to maintain workflow and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and retrieve sample pulps and rejects
• Scan and receive samples and pallets
• Conduct local deliveries and pickups as required
• Assist in shipping and receiving samples efficiently
• Follow safety regulations and established procedures
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma preferred
• Forklift license and operation experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic computer and English communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
