About the Role: Food Service Supervisor
As a Food Service Supervisor , you'll be responsible for coordinating the work of food counter attendants and food preparers , typically overseeing a team of 5 to 10 people. You'll set the tone for how the shift runs — from establishing work schedules to ensuring every product that goes out the door meets Tim Hortons' quality control standards . The work happens entirely on-site, and the role spans a range of shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and nights.
This is a permanent, full-time position at 40 hours per week. Physically, the role demands someone comfortable standing for extended periods, moving between tasks, and working efficiently under pressure. You'll also be the point of contact when customers raise concerns, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities
As a Food Service Supervisor at Tim Hortons, your day-to-day work centres on keeping operations running efficiently and your team performing at their best. From scheduling to quality checks to staff training, you'll play a hands-on leadership role across every shift.
- Establish methods and schedules to keep shift operations on track and on time
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food throughout the shift
- Train team members in job duties, sanitation standards, and safety procedures
- Ensure that all food and service meet Tim Hortons' quality control standards
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit operational reports as required
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure accuracy and presentation
Requirements / Skills
Tim Hortons is looking for someone with proven experience in a food service environment who can lead confidently and communicate clearly. The ideal candidate is dependable, client-focused, and comfortable navigating the physical demands of a busy quick-service setting.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a food service or related supervisory role
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
- Client focus with a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction
- Excellent oral communication skills for managing both staff and customer interactions
- Team player who can collaborate and motivate others in a high-pressure setting
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Physical capability to handle standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking throughout the shift
