Support SQL Server and Azure SQL environments at OS Institute as a SQL Server DBA. Leverage your T-SQL and performance tuning skills in a hybrid mode from Brampton, Ontario.

In this full-time role, you will administer Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Managed Instances while ensuring optimal performance and security. With at least seven years of experience, you will implement HA/DR solutions and manage database patching, upgrades, and migrations, while also focusing on database development with T-SQL and ETL processes using SSIS and ADF.

Key Responsibilities: • Administer Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL environments • Monitor performance, availability, and security of databases • Manage HA/DR solutions and backup/recovery processes • Troubleshoot production issues related to performance • Design and develop T-SQL objects and optimize queries

Requirements: • 7+ years as a SQL Server DBA and Developer • Proficiency in Azure SQL Mi and T-SQL programming • Experience with performance tuning and monitoring • Java and Spring Boot experience (2+ years) • Familiarity with REST APIs and CI/CD practices
