Tenure Information Term
The Faculty of Education at the University of Lethbridge is seeking a Sessional Lecturer to teach courses within the Master of Counselling and MEd Counselling Psychology programs in the Winter 2027 term.
Specific courses include:
- CAAP 6617 Research and Program Evaluation Skills - This course is offered asynchronously. Candidates should possess significant experience with teaching research and program evaluation classes and/or conducting similar research.
- EDUC 5621 Counselling Psychology: Ethics and Skilled Practice - This course is offered on campus in Lethbridge once per week. Candidates should possess significant experience with ethics and/or have significant professional exposure to ethics. Candidates for this class must be Registered Psychologists in Alberta.
- EDUC 5706 Counselling Psychology: Interventions - This course is offered on campus in Lethbridge once per week. Candidates should possess significant experience with teaching interventions and/or have significant professional experience in delivering evidence-based interventions. Candidates for this class must be Registered Psychologists in Alberta.
Applicants with a graduate degree in psychology or related discipline are invited to apply. Previous experience teaching at the graduate level is an asset.
Individuals contracted as a Sessional Lecturer will be asked to become an Associate Member of the School of Graduate Studies.
Individuals seeking Sessional Lecturer positions teaching within the B.Ed. program should apply separately to the undergraduate program.
