There is no option to work remotely.This employer states that this position is a green job, contributing to positive environmental outcomes and helping Canada achieve its net‑zero target.Required work conditions include confined spaces and wet/damp environments.Work SettingVarious locationsCommercialInstitutionalResidentialResponsibilitiesRead blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems.Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size.Ensure electrical and plumbing installations meet government regulation.QualificationsWorkplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
