The Salvation Army is seeking a dedicated Janitor to uphold the mission of cleanliness within our facilities. Candidates should be prepared for a variety of tasks, including light cleaning, floor maintenance, and basic repairs. You’ll have the responsibility to report safety issues and work closely with your supervisor while contributing to a supportive community environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform light cleaning duties throughout the facilities
• Empty garbage and restock washrooms as needed
• Vacuum carpets and wash tiled floors regularly




• Conduct minor repairs and report major issues
• Maintain exterior cleanliness and safety during winter
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent certification
• Minimum 6 months custodial experience
• Solid communication and friendly demeanor
• Ability to lift up to 10lbs safely
• Background check clearance acceptable to The Salvation Army
