The YMCA is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to support its Aquatics program. Under the supervision of the Aquatics Coordinator, the Lifeguard will focus on maintaining safety protocols, performing emergency procedures, and overseeing the pool area. You will uphold cleanliness standards and establish effective relationships with members and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain constant surveillance of the pool area
• Respond to emergencies and complete reports promptly
• Ensure safety protocols and guidelines are followed
• Conduct chemical testing and pool inspections
• Maintain accurate records and cleanliness of the area
Requirements:
• Must be 16 years or older
• Successful completion of a background check
• CPR and First Aid certifications required
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Adhere to drug-free workplace policies
