The CMO will be the key physician voice in the development and maintenance of the company's physician perspective on readiness to practice and the associated standards. This role requires a minimum of 10 years' of senior leadership experience in medical regulation, certification, assessment, academic medicine, health systems, or related fields, and a deep credibility in physician competency, standards, and assessment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert clinical judgment, contributing to the design of assessment programs, and representing the company in matters of clinical standards, physician readiness,



and regulation with national and international partners. Applicants for the CMO position at the company should hold a medical degree (MD) and have a proven track record of scholarship in assessment or a related field. The role demands advanced technical skills in physician competency frameworks, assessment science, and regulatory principles, as well as a sound understanding of executive decision-making and risk management. The ideal candidate will possess competencies in strategic and systems thinking, physician leadership, and collaboration without formal authority. A graduate qualification in business, education, health policy, or leadership, and specialty certification, are considered assets.
