Reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure Services, the successful Cybersecurity Specialist will enhance the operations and security functions of HWDSB's IT department. The chosen candidate will also conduct audits and provide consultation across teams for effective management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:



• Monitor security alerts and lead incident response • Evaluate and report vulnerabilities to senior management • Conduct forensic investigations and create management reports • Implement disaster recovery plans and security protocols • Provide cyber safety training and awareness for staff

Requirements: • Degree in Computer Science or a related field • Minimum 5 years of experience in security administration • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ • Familiarity with VMware and incident management systems • Excellent communication skills in technical support
