Enhance your public health experience as a Teaching Assistant for the PUBH 850 Social Justice course at the University of Saskatchewan this fall. Engage students and facilitate online discussions while assisting with course delivery.
This role requires a PhD-level or Master’s graduate student skilled in health equity and social justice. You will work under Dr. Holly McKenzie, assisting with marking assignments, coordinating guest speakers, and holding online office hours. Effective communication and engagement strategies will support students throughout their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with marking exams and assignments
• Coordinate guest speakers for class discussions
• Host online office hours for student support




• Facilitate class-based online group activities
• Support overall course delivery and student engagement
Requirements:
• Graduate student at PhD or Master’s level
• Solid knowledge of social justice theories
• Research or community experience in health equity
• Previous Teaching Assistant experience required
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
