Hourly rate increased based on number of staff supervised within the program and RECE statusPROGRAM DIRECTOR – BEFORE SCHOOL AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMPLASP Child Care Services is a charitable organization operating on a not-for-profit basis, providing high quality early learning and child care for children up to 12 years of age. PLASP operates in more than 240 schools providing before school, lunch, and after school programs and 38 full-day early learning and child care centres and six EarlyON locations for children from 0 – 6 years.PLASP is committed to hiring, training, and fairly compensating staff. Activities will promote their physical, social, emotional and intellectual well-being, in accordance with the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA), How Does Learning Happen (HDLH?), and the guidelines established by PLASP for all program components including P.A. DaysBudgeting and ordering food for the program,
preparing nutritious breakfast and snacks while adhering to the guidelines of the Canada Food Guide, and in accordance with the rotational snack plannerSupervising and training staff, Volunteers and Students on Placement (if applicable), by providing strong leadership, decision making and problem-solving skills and conducting regular performance appraisalsResponsible for all administration for the program, including registration, record-keeping, health and safety monitoring and ordering of suppliesOperating programs according to the Ministry of Education (MEDU) standards and ensures the CCEYA license is in positive standingParticipating fully in P.A.
