Discover your full potential – join us to advance your career while leaving a lasting legacy.Your RolePerform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and industry standards, engineering formulas, and experience.Provide construction support including review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, etc.Produce sketches to be incorporated in models/drawings by designers/drafters.Develop construction cost estimates for projects within the department.Organize, draft, and coordinate technical documents.Work with lead engineers to scope out projects and establish project objectives.Coordinate work with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, etc.Develop engineering estimates and assist with proposal development.Manage discipline schedules and deliverables.May serve as Project Engineer and as a designated client contact on smaller, less complex projects.Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.Additional duties as required.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.5-9 years of design experience in EPC or consulting industry preferred.Active P.Eng.



status in British Columbia and/or Alberta.Be familiar with structural analysis software SFrame, STAAD, RISA, SAP2000.Good understanding of applicable industry codes and standard practices.Experience with site grading and roadway design is an asset for this position.Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to establish and maintain positive client and project team relationships.Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications.Responsible for adhering to all health and safety policies and guidelines.Willingness and ability to travel as needed.The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $125,000 per year.
