Job Description

Location: Private Residence – Central Downtown Area

Job Type: Part time, maximum 5 days per week

This position is not suitable for individuals who rely on public transit, as the shift times do not align with transit schedules.

Shift Times

- Morning: 8:30 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. – approximately 1.5 hours
- Late afternoon: Around 4:00–5:00 p.m. – approximately 1 hour (time may fluctuate depending on physio appointments)
- Late evening: 9:00 p.m. – approximately 1 hour

Required Skills

- Can provide care on short notice — great for someone looking to pick up a few extra hours while maintaining another job
- Has familiarity working with individuals with Multiple Sclerosis
- Is proficient with proper lifting/transferring techniques (up to 140 lbs)
- Is willing to assist with meal and supplement preparation
- Has a vehicle or reliable transportation to the central downtown area
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Has a clear criminal record
