BettingJobs is hiring a Senior Software Engineer a global leader in online gaming, to join a new backend engineering team in Toronto.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance .NET backend services
- Build and manage real-time data pipelines and integrations.
- Extend legacy systems to ensure stability and backward compatibility.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues
- Oversee the deployment lifecycle and CI/CD processes.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of .NET development experience.
- Robust background in distributed systems and microservices
- Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka), REST APIs, gRPC, or WebSockets
- Proficiency with Redis, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Skilled with observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana)
- Comfortable with complex business logic and high ownership roles
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Bonus: Experience with financial/trading domains, test automation, GitOps/CD tools, or actor model frameworks.
