AgeCare seeks a dedicated Nursing Unit Clerk to manage daily staffing needs in the Nursing Department. In this vital role, you'll assist in scheduling and reporting absenteeism while promoting a secure atmosphere for residents and staff. Your exceptional communication skills will ensure accurate coordination and support for the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily staffing and scheduling for the Nursing Department
• Update the Master Schedule with staffing changes
• Obtain overtime approval from the Director of Care
• Maintain attendance and absenteeism records
• Communicate recurrent absenteeism issues to management
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Post-secondary education preferred
• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and oral
• Potential requirement for CPR certification
• Canadian work experience not mandatory
