As a Crisis Intervention Worker, you will create a respectful environment and help clients with safety planning and resource referrals. You will work both independently and within a team while handling crisis situations with professionalism and maintaining necessary documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide crisis assistance and support to clients
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace at the shelter
• Assist with safety planning and resource referrals
• Complete required documentation accurately
• Respond calmly to crisis situations and client needs
Requirements:
• One-year certification in a human services field or three years of experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of community resources and support systems
• Valid Saskatchewan Drivers Licence
• First Aid and CPR certification
