You will be responsible for Level 1 customer support, technical diagnostics and installations. Then tell us why we need to hire you!The role requires drive and a strong sense of accountability, as the day-to-day work environment will involve very little direct supervision.Responsibilities, including but not limited to:General office IT support: workstations, printers, peripherals, etc.Customer support requestInstalling networks, 2-way radio setups, phone systems, cell boosters,
and moreDaily stats monitoring and issue reportingTroubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and software applications.Customer Business Telephone (PBX) support and maintenance.Maintain inventory of IT assets.Provide Support for local and remote users.2-way radio programmingQualificationsA+ Certification is an asset.Emergency First Aid for Industry (formerly OFA1) is an asset. If needed, a course will be provided.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Knowledge and experience in operating systems, networking, and system support are a bonus.Attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and react quickly to changing priorities.Ability to learn quickly, work independently, problem-solve, and perform a variety of tasks.Availability to work a flexible schedule and have and maintain reliable transportation.A large portion of this position involves fieldwork, so you must be able to work outside the office in remote locations and with non-standard office hours.Solid documentation skills.
