Responsibilities

- Use appropriate cleaning tools and equipment to wash down barn interiors, including walls, floors, stalls, and feeding areas
- Apply cleaning solutions safely and effectively to eliminate dirt, manure, dust, and other debris
- Perform heavy lifting of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials as needed to facilitate thorough cleaning processes
- Maintain proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with farm protocols
- Inspect barn structures and equipment for any maintenance needs or safety hazards during cleaning routines




- Follow all safety procedures related to the use of cleaning chemicals and heavy machinery
- Assist with basic maintenance or minor repairs on farm machinery or equipment when required

Experience

- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with farm machinery is preferred to understand equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment
- Prior experience in agricultural settings or farm-related roles is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude toward cleanliness and safety standards
