As a QA Inspector within the Electrical Division at Powell, you will work closely with the Quality Supervisor to ensure compliance with Powell’s strict manufacturing standards. Your responsibilities will involve a combination of visual inspections, conducting tests for various electrical equipment, and engaging with customers during inspections. Teamwork and communication are vital as you will collaborate with multiple departments to uphold quality across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct visual inspections of shop electrical operations • Inspect and test manufactured equipment to Powell standards • Perform skid inspections for structural and visual defects • Operate relays, PLCs, and other control systems • Document quality control tests and maintain accurate records
Requirements: • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent • 0-3 years of relevant manufacturing experience • Familiarity with test equipment and electrical theory • Ability to read technical specifications and schematics • Safety training certificates are an asset
