Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and personable Budtender to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face guiding customers through their Cannabis journey, offering expert product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your enthusiasm for Cannabis education combined with excellent communication skills will help foster a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs
- Provide detailed product information, including effects, usage, and perks of Cannabis products such as THC and CBD
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
- Upsell products by understanding customer preferences and recommending complementary items
- Handle cash, process payments, and balance registers at shift end with precision




- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and store policies related to Cannabis sales
- Cleaning duties to keep the store tidy and presentable

Requirements

- Previous retail sales or customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality or dispensary setting
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform physical tasks as needed
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic math skills for transactions
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, inventory management, and merchandising
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of computer operation and general computer skills to navigate sales software efficiently
