Business Development Manager | Full-Time | Greater Hamilton Area

Project XIII Staffing is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization in the Greater Hamilton Area to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturer with a strong commitment to quality, long-term client partnerships, and continuous improvement.

We're looking for individuals with a track record in technical, relationship-driven B2B sales who take pride in building long-term client partnerships within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The Opportunity

As a Business Development Manager, you'll drive revenue growth through the development, expansion, and retention of long-term client relationships. This role manages complex, long-cycle B2B sales engagements within a technical manufacturing workplace, acting as a strategic partner to clients rather than a transactional seller. You'll lead commercial strategy at the account level, align client needs with organizational capabilities, and ensure commitments made to clients are realistic, executable, and built for long-term partnership.

What You'll Do

- Build, maintain, and expand strong long-term relationships with assigned clients.
- Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for clients within assigned accounts.
- Drive revenue growth through recent business development and expansion of existing accounts.
- Lead strategic account planning and identify opportunities for increased share of wallet.
- Develop and execute account-level commercial strategies aligned with overall sales objectives.
- Lead pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and long-term agreements.
- Maintain an accurate and current sales pipeline within the CRM,

providing reliable forecasts.
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, delivery, and operations teams to ensure client commitments align with internal capabilities.
- Lead development of client proposals and commercial inputs.
- Advocate for client needs internally while supporting resolution of client issues and escalations.
- Monitor client activity, market trends, and competitive dynamics to inform sales strategy.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client activity, opportunities, and forecasts.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in B2B sales within manufacturing, engineered products, automation, or custom solutions environments.
- Proven success managing long-cycle, relationship-driven sales engagements.
- Strong commercial judgment, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex client relationships across multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technical manufacturing environment.

Working Environment

- Office-based role with regular travel to client sites as required.
- Modern manufacturing organization located in the Greater Hamilton Area.
- Safety-focused workplace with a strong commitment to compliance.
- Opportunity to join a stable organization with long-term career potential.

Why Apply?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established manufacturer that values long-term client relationships, commercial excellence, and continuous improvement. If you're looking to build your career with a growing organization that offers long-term stability and opportunities for development, we'd love to hear from you.
