What you will do

The Business Process & Automation Specialist supports the evaluation, redesign, automation, and continuous improvement of core business processes across Marks Commercial. The role combines process improvement skills with practical hands‑on exposure to Microsoft 365 and Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, Forms, Excel, and related automated solutions. This role helps teams move from manual, fragmented ways of working toward more consistent workflows, structured information, automated reporting, and practical Microsoft 365-enabled solutions.

The focus is on improving execution, visibility, adoption, and decision‑making while ensuring solutions are straightforward, sustainable, and aligned to business needs. Working closely with business stakeholders and technical partners, the role translates operational challenges into practical solutions such as workflow automations, Power BI dashboards, SharePoint process hubs, structured repositories, and adoption materials. The role supports implementation, troubleshooting, documentation, and ongoing improvement to help teams work more efficiently and consistently using automation, reporting, and Microsoft 365-enabled solutions.

This role supports the development of efficient, scalable, and modern business processes by helping assess, redesign, document, and improve ways of working, while enabling automation, reporting, and AI-supported solutions where they create meaningful business value. Key Responsibilities

Process Assessment & Analysis

Partner with business leaders to document and assess current‑state processes end‑to‑end Identify inefficiencies, duplication, and process gaps across functions Analyze performance data to establish baseline metrics (cycle time, cost, quality, service levels)



Prioritize opportunities based on business impact and feasibility

Process Redesign & AI Integration

Support the redesign of business processes to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability Incorporate AI, automation, and digital tools into process design where appropriate Validate recommended solutions through pilot testing and iteration Ensure redesigned processes align with operational and strategic objectives

Automation & Solution Development

Support the design, build, testing, deployment, and maintenance of automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate Translate business requirements into practical solution concepts and low‑complexity SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Platform solutions Create or support Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to monitor process performance, adoption, exceptions, and business outcomes

Support automated intake, task tracking, approvals, notifications, exception management, and status reporting workflows Configure SharePoint lists, libraries, metadata, permissions, views, forms, and document management structures to support standardized processes Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancement of workflows to improve reliability and user experience

Partner with IT, Data, and Digital teams where enterprise integrations, data access, security, or governance approvals are required

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, IT,



and other business units

Implementation & Adoption

Support the implementation of redesigned processes across the organization Develop standard operating procedures, documentation, and supporting materials Support leaders to drive adoption and embed new ways of working Monitor implementation progress and address risks or barriers

Continuous Improvement

Establish a structured approach to ongoing process review and optimization Maintain a pipeline of process improvement opportunities Monitor performance against defined metrics and adjust as requiredStay current on emerging technologies and AI capabilities relevant to the business

What you bring

Education & Experience

1-3 years of experience in business process improvement, operations, transformation, automation, reporting, or Microsoft 365 / Power Platform-enabled solution delivery Experience working cross‑functionally within a complex organization Demonstrated hands‑on experience, certification, coursework, or project‑based exposure with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, automation, reporting, or AI‑enabled business solutions is preferred

Technical Capabilities & Tool Exposure

Working knowledge of Power Automate, with the ability and willingness to build, test, troubleshoot, and improve cloud flows, approvals, notifications, and basic automation logic Ability to configure or support SharePoint‑based business solutions, including lists, libraries, metadata, views, permissions, forms, versioning, and document management structures Experience creating or supporting Power BI dashboards, including KPI reporting, stakeholder‑ready visuals, basic data preparation, refresh awareness, and willingness to develop data mode
