Hybrid role Positions Requested: 2 Description: Bilingualism is mandatory The Buyer II serves as a fully proficient procurement professional responsible for managing complex suppliers, high-spend portfolios, and critical supply risks. The role drives operational performance through proactive supply management, shortage prevention, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities - Execute and manage purchase orders from requisition through delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance and delivery commitments.
- Manage strategic and critical supplier relationships.
- Lead recovery efforts for shortage and delivery issues.
- Analyze supplier performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Execute sourcing recommendations and commodity strategies.
- Participate in supplier business reviews.
- Mentor junior buyers and provide operational support.
- Support cost reduction and supply chain optimization efforts.
- Lead complex RFQs and sourcing events under commodity management guidance.
Key Skills - Data analysis and reporting
- Cross-functional leadership
- Presentation and communication skills Education - Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations
- Management, or a related discipline.
- SCMP, CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent qualified certification preferred.
Experience - 3-6 years of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, manufacturing, or supply chain
- Manufacturing and supply chain knowledge
