About The
Role
Reports to the Director of Manufacturing on all matters. The CI Manager will be responsible for all functions of a production project from start to finish. Works closely with Engineering, Production and Quality on specific project tasks. Duties are responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Co-ordinate and maintain physical layout of equipment, materials and storage
• Maintain accurate throughput calculations for all manufacturing resources
• Determine cycle times for manufacturing resources
• Identify bottleneck resources and capacity constraint resources
• Co-ordinate throughput improvement efforts
• Assess operator utilization
• Assess ergonomic conditions and reduce ergonomic stressors
• Implement continuous improvement and monitor cost savings
• Maintain key performance indicator charts/graphs
• Completion of job instruction sheets
• Maintain master lists of SOPs, re-work instructions, SQDCI boards and layer audit process
• Evaluate and co-ordinate elimination of safety hazards
• Completion of set up instructions and re-work instructions
• Support production on optimizing equipment utilization and efficiency
• Work with R&D; to launch new products and inform production; and Any other tasks assigned by the Director of Manufacturing.
Requirements &
• Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Technology, Industrial or equivalent is preferred. Years of Experience
Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Process Engineer or equivalent manufacturing / product development work experience. Work Location
On-Site; Work in a manufacturing plant environment; May require heavy lifting, working indoors, and standing for a long duration of time; and Wearing PPE is mandatory in the plant. Why State?
