The Administrative Assistant is directly accountable to the Executive Director, Primary Health Care – Regina Area of the Saskatchewan Health Authority and provides administrative support in a one‑on‑one working relationship. This position supports, and contributes to, processes and practices to support the efficient operation of the Executive Director, Primary Health Care – Regina Area portfolio, through accurate, timely and productive execution of administrative support functions. The incumbent works closely, in a collaborative and cooperative manner, with all members of the Senior Leadership Team, and their support staff, to assist in accomplishing the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s objectives. The incumbent co‑ordinates workflow with other administrative support staff in the Executive Office and at the Executive Director level and, in their absence, may provide support services as requested.



Human Resources Exemption:

No Experience 3-5 years of experience working in a senior administrative assistant‑type role Education Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by a recognized business course Competencies Planning skills Communication skills Problem solving skills Decision making skills Interpersonal skills Organizational skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to adapt to frequent change and work under pressure Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently Excellent proficiency in editing material for clarity, accuracy and conciseness Ability to work collegially, collaboratively and build positive relationships Have high degree of initiative, ingenuity & can work with little/no supervision Knowledge & experience in minute taking & synthesizing information Commitment to quality, safety, and improvement striving towards zero harm Knowledge in applicable organization structure and function Commitment to a diverse, culturally competent, culturally safe work environment Can maintain confidentiality including confidential information with discretion.
