The candidate will be responsible for operating and setting up machines to perform repetitive machining operations. The candidate will be responsible for verifying the dimensions of parts machined with precise measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. The candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on equipment and machinery. The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the work area.
Job Requirements The candidate should be fluent in English language. The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry. The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs). The candidate should be reliable.
Work setting The candidate must work in a custom machine shop.
Equipment and machinery experience The candidate must have experience using milling machines and computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
Security and safety The candidate should be subjected to a thorough criminal background check.
Transportation/travel information The candidate must have their own transportation.
Work conditions and physical capabilities The candidate should have an eye for details. The candidate should be willing to work overtime if necessary.
Own tools/equipment The candidate must have tools and steel-toed safety boots.
