Starting immediately, this position offers maternity coverage ending in December 2027. The Veterinary Assistant will work regular hours from 9 AM to 5 PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and until 6 PM on Wednesday and Thursday. The ideal candidate will have animal experience, strong interpersonal and computer skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in animal restraint and husbandry
• Support veterinarians and technicians during procedures
• Maintain cleanliness through sterilization processes
• Handle laboratory samples with care
• Engage with clients for education and service
